Queens Lodge was given the Gold Award in the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's 'Golden Platter Award For Healthy Catering' scheme which encompassed standards of hygiene, staff training in safe food handling, clean and safe eating environment and healthy food choices. Our head chef has devised our menus based on a 5 weekly cycle and has tailored them especially to meet the needs and wishes of the residents.

Our modern stainless steel kitchen has been installed to the highest standard and is well equipped to cater for well in excess of 40 residents. A serving hatch into the dining room provides an excellent opportunity for communication between residents and our chefs.
